The Parts Inside Salesperson plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by efficiently processing orders and addressing customer inquiries. This position responds promptly to requests and gathers necessary information to assist in identifying and sourcing requested parts. This is more than an order-entry role - it's an opportunity to build technical expertise and grow within a high-performing HVAC organization.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Computer skills are essential

• Ability to develop and maintain deep customer and stakeholder relationships

Nice To Haves

• HVAC Parts background is preferred
• HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering, or Construction industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales of HVAC parts and supplies via phone, email, and walk-in transactions
• Manage transactions and interface with manufacturers and customers to provide accurate information regarding order status
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions
• Promptly identify parts and process customer quotes and orders
• Follow up with customers on quotes and inquiries regarding products or services
• Approve manufacturer invoices, issue customer invoices, and reconcile financials within assigned parts projects
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support as required
• Keep internal templates and procedures up to date
• Stay informed about manufacturer updates related to service bulletins and product obsolescence
• Visit job sites with Outside Sales Team members to gain a better understanding of customer requirements, equipment specifications and component identification
• Contribute to a growing team environment
• Ability to work within and effectively navigate multiple CRM systems
• Ability to efficiently manage, update, and ensure data accuracy across multiple CRM systems
• Load and unload shipments of parts, supplies, and equipment as needed
• Record inventory discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal ordering processes
