About The Position

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This hybrid role involves coordinating activities between customer accounts, regional sales, service representatives, and internal departments. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, following up on quotes, and driving order conversion. The ideal candidate will develop strong product knowledge, generate sales orders for aftermarket parts, and maintain accurate customer records in our CRM system. This position also involves preparing cost estimates, handling customer complaints and returns, and assisting with accounts receivable issues. Additional duties and special projects may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field (industrial parts preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with relationship-building ability.
  • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal awareness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Resilience and ability to handle rejection.

  • Recent college grad with some work experience OR someone with experience in industrial parts.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities between customer accounts, regional sales, service representatives, and internal departments.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand needs and provide solutions.
  • Follow up on quotes and customer inquiries to drive order conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM.
  • Develop strong product knowledge to support customer needs.
  • Generate sales orders for aftermarket parts in coordination with outside sales.
  • Maintain and update CRM database for assigned accounts.
  • Prepare cost estimates and follow up on pricing requests.
  • Handle customer complaints, returns, and adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Assist in resolving accounts receivable issues.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
