About The Position
Mike's Outdoor Power Equipment is looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as a Parts & Front Counter Associate. This position is responsible for assisting customers at the front counter, managing lawn mower and outdoor power equipment parts, answering phones, and supporting our service department.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn parts lookup systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Previous parts, automotive, lawn equipment, or retail experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries and purchases
- Look up and order parts for lawn mowers and outdoor power equipment
- Process sales transactions and create customer invoices
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts inventory
- Assist service technicians with parts requests
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
- Schedule service appointments and communicate with customers regarding repairs
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
