About The Position

At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow. Join us! As the Parts Finisher you will perform routine finishing operations in sanding, polishing, and deburring. You will have the opportunity to: Inspect finishing applications to ensure established standards are met using basic hand tools. Use production line end equipment IE. Grit blaster, Ultrasonic Cleaner, Cascade oven, PTF and ASTM. Perform designated part verifications, fill out inspection reports and advise quality of any issues. Place finished parts in designated areas with safe handling of material and parts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Up to 1 year of related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to learn and operate fork truck.
• Ability to lift 40lbs.
• Able to work 6 am- 2:30 pm.
• Export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Must qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
