Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
  • Attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules.
  • Must be organized and a self-starter.
  • Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in the Dealership’s normal screening process which includes: completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable); in-person interviews and other inquiries.
  • Authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
  • High School diploma or the equivalent.
  • Must have a reliable way to commute to work.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate dealership vehicles for marketing purposes.
  • Must be insurable.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pull parts and tires from inventory based on Repair Order or Purchase Order.
  • Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, vendors, and internal clients.
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Verify accuracy of payments, invoices, and purchase orders; collect any required signatures and return paperwork to the office.
  • Record inventory movement and participate in perpetual bin counts.
  • Daily stocking of Express area.
  • Assist with daily housekeeping and inventory duties.
  • Handle basic maintenance of delivery vehicles, including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
  • Advise the parts manager of needed major repairs and maintenance.
  • Proactively communicate potential issues with Management and other department employees in order to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Report to Management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
