About The Position

The Parts Driver has front line responsibility for customer interaction related to safe and efficient delivery of parts to our customers and pick-up from vendors. This includes loading parts delivery vehicles, checking each load for 100% complete and accurate order fulfillment, performing safety checks of delivery vehicles, obeying all traffic laws and driving defensively, professionally representing Peterbilt of Atlanta at customer locations in appearance, attitude and communication, accurate record keeping through signatures on delivery paperwork, returned goods paperwork (RGM's), etc., and collection of COD checks and credit card payments, with phone in verification.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record which meets Peterbilt of Atlanta's criteria
• Commercial Driver Medical Certification is required
• Ability to use computer and calculator
• Ability to drive and operate a fork-lift safely
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts
• Professional personal appearance and dress
• Willing to submit to a background check
• Willing to submit to a post-offer drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Will be trained on parts department's computer inventory system
