Parts Driver - 1st Shift
About The Position
TransChicago Truck Group is a full-service commercial truck dealership representing Freightliner and Western Star, providing sales, service, and parts. The company is a family-owned, fast-growing dealership group that values curiosity, teamwork, and growth. The Parts Driver supports the Aurora dealership by delivering parts to customers and picking up parts from suppliers. The role also assists with customer orders, receiving and stocking parts, and occasional warehouse work. Compensation is listed at $25 per hour. The hourly rate will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications, and education.
Requirements
- Previous commercial driving experience is required.

- One or more years of industry experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
- Coordinate any last-minute pickups or deliveries before leaving.
- Assist with pulling customer orders when requested.
- Verify that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pickup.
- Check payments received against invoices for each delivery.
- Maintain an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups and obtain the recipient’s signature for each delivery entry.
- Unload the truck each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Help stock and post incoming orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.
- Provide occasional assistance in the warehouse as needed.
