About The Position

The Parts Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area, transporting products from local parts sources and delivering them to the dealership. The role emphasizes operating within legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7 AM to 6 PM and are subject to change, requiring flexibility. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license, and a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles and must have basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance (checking and topping off fluid levels, maintaining tire pressure, performing vehicle safety checks, etc.). Strong communication and customer service skills are also required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Unrestricted driver's license
Clean driving record
Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance (checking and topping off fluid levels, maintaining tire pressure, performing vehicle safety checks, etc.)
Strong communication and customer service skills
A valid California driver's license and clean DMV driving record
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
Able to multi-task
Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond
Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills
Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members
Must have a high-energy personality
Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment

Deliver and pick up parts to various locations.

Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise and vehicles.
