About The Position
Altorfer Inc. is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, delivering and picking up parts on a scheduled route, and completing associated paperwork. The position requires computer literacy, forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. The driver will be on the road approximately 95% of the time, with the remaining time spent at the facility. Flexibility in schedule and hours is essential. Altorfer Inc. is a third-generation, family-owned company founded in 1957, with over 35 locations and 1300 employees. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in delivery.
- Loading/unloading experience required.
- Computer literacy including UPS Worldship, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years).
- Safety oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal).
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
