About The Position
Flatirons Imports is a family-owned dealership that has been serving the Boulder community since 1954. We are seeking an organized, personable individual to join our team as a Parts Counter Representative. The ideal candidate will be the go-to person who keeps things running smoothly in the parts department and shares our pride in providing great service. We have been voted "Best Car Dealer" 10 of the last 12 years and hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. This role offers real opportunities for advancement within the company.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a parts counter, automotive, or related retail role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A professional, positive demeanor.
- Comfort with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer and phone skills.
Nice To Haves
- DealerTrack experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Help customers and technicians find exactly the right parts for the job.
- Answer calls, provide price quotes, and share information with a friendly, knowledgeable touch.
- Review body shop estimates to ensure parts and pricing align correctly.
- Keep display cases and counters organized and well-stocked.
- Pull and fill orders from stock, and keep paperwork moving efficiently.
- Flag out-of-stock parts or shop materials to the Parts Manager to prevent delays.
- Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed to the service repair order.
