About The Position

Join Our Team as a Parts Counterman at the Newest, Largest, and Fastest-Growing Ford Dealership in the Midwest! We’re excited to announce the construction of our brand-new Ford dealership located at the I-70/I-64 interchange. Once completed, it will be the first ground-up Ford dealership to be built in the St. Louis metro area in over 40 years and will be the largest in the Midwest! As the fastest-growing new car dealership in St. Louis, we are expanding our team to deliver exceptional service to our customers at an accelerated rate. One of the standout features of our new dealership will be a dedicated Bronco showroom, showcasing the newest and most popular models. We are seeking an experienced Parts Counterman to join our growing team at our current location in O'Fallon, Missouri and help us transition to our new building this Fall. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in parts will be highly valued.

Requirements

Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Effective analytical and communication skills
Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Minimum of 1 year in service department
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills
Positive, friendly attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)

Responsibilities

Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
Complete special order part request for the customer
Communicate with customer on parts status
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
