About The Position
Performance Toyota Fairfield is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Parts Counterperson to join our Parts Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven professional to bring their expertise in automotive parts and customer service to a team that values knowledge, accuracy, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role for an experienced automotive Parts Counterperson with a proven track record in parts operations and customer service. You will be responsible for providing expert support at the parts counter, managing inventory processes, and ensuring prompt, accurate service to technicians and retail customers.
Requirements
- Experience as an automotive parts counterperson
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer skills and parts software experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Drug-free workplace
Responsibilities
- Support customers and technicians at the parts counter
- Accurately identify, source, and process automotive parts orders and returns
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and organization
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely parts delivery
- Resolve customer questions and issues quickly and professionally
