About The Position

Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for a Parts Counterperson to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. This role requires self-motivated individuals with a passion for the automotive industry and a focus on serving customers. The Parts Counterperson will effectively assist customers and staff in a professional and friendly manner, review orders to ensure correct parts are ordered, and maintain orderly records for repair orders and invoices. They will also communicate with managers regarding out-of-stock parts, follow up on backordered parts, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and notify necessary service employees when parts have arrived.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time
• Detail oriented
• Willing to learn and cross train for future growth opportunities
• Must have a valid driver's license with 3 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years
• Major violations in the last 3 years, such as DUI or Reckless Driving, will disqualify candidates.

Nice To Haves

• Prior CDK or like software knowledge preferred, but not necessary.
