About The Position

Oakes Auto Group is seeking a Parts Counterperson to support both our retail customers and internal service department. This role is responsible for helping customers and technicians find the right parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, processing warranty and core returns, and ensuring the parts department operates efficiently. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a standard background check
Strong reliability and consistent attendance
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

Nice To Haves

Previous parts, automotive, retail, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Positive attitude and team-first mentality

Responsibilities

Assist retail customers and dealership technicians at the parts counter
Look up, source, price, and order OEM and aftermarket parts
Process warranty claims, core returns, and maintain accurate parts records
Receive, stock, organize, and manage parts inventory
Support technicians and service advisors to keep repair orders moving efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department
