About The Position

Lia Toyota Northampton is seeking an experienced Parts Counterperson to join their team. The Lia Auto Group, established in 1977 by Bill Lia Sr., is one of the top 100 automotive groups in the country. It comprises 21 dealerships across New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, representing various manufacturers including Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, Infiniti, Volkswagen, and Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (CJDR). The group also offers rental and full-body repair services at the Lia Collision Center in Colonie, NY. The Lia Group Companies have expanded to include Vent Fitness, Lia Insurance Agency, BurgerFi, and various commercial properties. Requirements

  • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Professional personal appearance & positive attitude along with a customer service mentality
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a clean and valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience with auto parts sales (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
  • Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
  • Complete special order part request for the customer
  • Communicate with customer on parts status
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
