They must clearly define purchase terms (cash, COD, charge, PO, Fleetpack, warranty) and notify the parts manager of new customers with necessary details. Accurate documentation of all sales, credits, and core charges is crucial, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and signed. The role also includes managing will-call orders, recording lost sales, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Additionally, the Parts Counterperson is expected to maintain a positive attitude towards customers, management, and coworkers, stay updated on new products, follow safety guidelines, and assist with various parts department duties including shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies.
