About The Position

Our dealership is searching for a Parts Counterperson Extraordinaire to be the heart of our parts department! This role involves interacting with customers and service technicians, identifying and locating parts, processing orders, and maintaining inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of automotive components and systems
• Familiarity with parts lookup and dealership software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an automotive parts department is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and service technicians in a professional and friendly manner
• Identify and locate the correct parts using catalogs and computer systems
• Provide pricing, availability, and product information
• Process orders, returns, and warranty claims accurately
• Maintain stock levels and participate in inventory control
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming parts shipments
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to keep operations running smoothly
• Other duties as assigned by management
