About The Position

Gurley Leep's GM Giant dealership is hiring a parts counter to join their team. This is a full-time position with a family-friendly 5-day work schedule. The role involves locating and arranging for installation of parts and accessories, monitoring inventory, maintaining storage areas, staying knowledgeable about vehicles and promotions, and maintaining accurate sales documentation. Parts delivery and pick-up may also be required.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience in Parts Counter position is required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Working knowledge of the automotive industry
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Strong computer skills, internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service

Responsibilities

Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation
Monitors parts inventory and maintains storage area in good condition
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, and promotions
Maintains accurate sales documentation
Provides timely and accurate reports as required
Parts delivery and pick-up in company vehicle when needed
