About The Position

This position will be responsible for quoting, selling, and sourcing replacement and maintenance parts for various types of material handling equipment. The role involves sourcing all required parts based on the best possible cost, availability, quality, and delivery time. This is an excellent career opportunity with our growing company.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good memory and ability to work accurately with lengthy part numbers.
Ability to follow directions and safe operating procedures.
Neat and well organized.
Ability to work on his/her feet for extended periods of time.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
Must possess basic math skills.
Have a basic understanding of warehouse and supply chain operations.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in material handling, equipment repairs, servicing, or parts sales preferred.
Forklift Operating License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Identifying parts using EPC and paperback catalogs.
Considering price, quality, availability, and reliability when choosing suppliers.
Placing orders and ensuring products are shipped according to deadlines.
Managing purchase orders from creation to close.
Obtaining freight charges from suppliers.
Recouping freight through WO distribution.
Tracking and processing credits.
Providing internal customers with accurate delivery times.
Finding the highest quality goods possible.
Generating quotes and Parts Department Work Orders.
Pulling orders for delivery and will call.
Answering phones and emails.
Putting up stock.
Providing customer service.
Performing cycle counts.
