About The Position
The Parts Counter Salesperson is responsible for assisting customers in finding the appropriate part for their vehicle while providing the utmost customer service.

- Standing: Intermittent, not to equal more than 35 % of the working day.
- Walking:Intermittent, not to equal more than 25 % of the working day.

- Stooping (bending at the waist), kneeling (at knees) and crouching (at knee and waist): Infrequent activity, not equal to or more than 15% of the working day.
- Lifting: Maximum of 45 lbs.
- Carrying: Maximum of 25 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling:Frequent activity using equipment and hand tools.
- Climbing and balancing

- Twisting or turning of trunk

- Handling: Hand tools, etc.
Responsibilities
- Read catalogs or computer in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
- Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
- Fill customer orders from stock or order.
- Fill service departments order from stock or order.
- Prepare sales slips or sales contracts.
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
- Issue spare and replacement parts, equipment and expandable items used in maintenance shop.
- Take inventory of parts and equipment and maintain inventory records.
- May drive to pick up incoming stock or pick up and deliver parts to units in other building or locations.
- Sell auto parts and aftermarket items to customers.
- Treat members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner.
- Work in cooperative and professional manner with all personnel and conform to the company’s policy and non-discrimination and harassment.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when on the job.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Move new or used vehicles for customers
- Demonstrating new or used vehicles to potential customers.
- New and used car repositioning on sales lots as required for display.
- Other Driving as assigned.
