Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, the Parts Counter Salesperson is responsible for selling parts over the front counter and back counter. This role handles parts requirements of customers through counter service and telephone sales, invoices and pulls parts correctly, and places parts in the appropriate area or customer pick-up delivery. The salesperson also adds Service Department parts to Ro and issues them to technicians in a timely manner, greets customers in a friendly and professional manner, and advises customers on any changes to orders such as substitutions or modifications. Additionally, the role assists in keeping the parts area clean, shelves stocked and orderly, and aids in physical stock inventory.
