About The Position
Louisiana Machinery Company, a NAPA Auto Parts family member since 2008, is seeking a Parts Counter Representative for its DeRidder, LA location. This role is crucial for assisting customers and technicians in fulfilling their parts requirements. The company, which also represents Caterpillar®, offers a wide range of parts and services for automotive, heavy-duty truck, marine, and industrial applications, including hydraulic hose capabilities and repair services. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Strong sales consultative communication skills as role is a "customer-facing" position
- Strong knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office software

- Previous experience with selling parts
Responsibilities
- Answer parts sales calls
- Assist customers with counter sales and inquiries
- Take and process customer orders
- Offer advice and details regarding available products
- Follow-up communications with customers
- Stock, order, and maintain proper inventory levels
