About The Position
Premier Truck Group is seeking a Parts Counter Sales professional for their Dallas Area Collision Center. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service at the counter, responding to telephone inquiries, and ensuring customers receive the correct parts for their needs. The company is the largest Freightliner dealer group in North America, offering a premium selection of new and used commercial vehicles, along with comprehensive parts, maintenance, and repair services. Requirements
- A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
- A minimum of one year experience in sales and/or counter operations is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
Nice To Haves
- Additional product training preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
- Respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
- Search catalogs for the correct part to meet the customers’ needs.
- Call vendors to determine availability and price of parts not in stock.
- Maintain a section of the showroom floor.
- Assist warehouse personnel in identifying and finding parts.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
