About The Position

Voss Chevrolet is looking for a Parts Counterperson to join our team! We're looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused individual who can provide excellent service to our technicians, service advisors, and retail customers. This is a full-time position. As a parts counter person you will be the principle contact between the parts department and the service department for the sale of parts and accessories. You have direct customer contact for sales over the counter, through service and on the phone. You will work daily with suppliers and your team to ensure that we have the parts and tools we need for the day, week and month. You will use your strong computer skills in the use of the EPC and inventory systems. You will do daily cashing out for customers, following up on any outstanding issues or parts and ensuring all records for repair orders, insurance estimates and special orders are keep in an orderly manner. Voss Chevrolet will provide you with all the training you need for the job. We consistently do training for our employees to ensure that they stay current on all on in- house and manufacturers standards.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive parts experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Comfortable using computers and inventory/parts management systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a Background and Drug Screen

Responsibilities
