About The Position
Holman Automotive is excited to announce an opportunity for a Parts Counter Person to join our brand-new Lexus dealership in Vancouver, WA! We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Parts Counter Person to assist service technicians and team members in finding the appropriate accessories and order parts for repairs and upgrades to consumer vehicles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of experience in automotive parts department highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers, technicians and sales consultants with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person or via the telephone
- Handle cash and other purchasing transactions
- Operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up-to-date parts information
- Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
- Maintain stock of the parts department by assisting with shipping and receiving and will maintain the parts database.
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance always
