We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused Parts Counter Person to join our team in Auburn, California. The Parts Counter Person will use their knowledge of automotive parts and accessories to assist customers both in person and over the phone. This role includes locating parts from inventory or external sources, arranging for delivery and installation, and managing parts receipt and stocking. Maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy is essential.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of dealership experience preferred
- Previous automotive parts knowledge is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Friendly and helpful attitude with strong customer service skills
- Reliable and professional work ethic
- Proficiency in computer and internet usage
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Receive and stock incoming parts and accessories accurately
- Locate and order automotive parts as requested by customers and service teams
- Arrange for timely installation and delivery of parts
- Maintain current knowledge of vehicles, accessories, and promotions
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales and inventory documentation
- Provide timely reports as needed
- Ensure all parts deliveries meet company safety and procedural standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
