About The Position

Rydell Honda Nissan, a leading automotive retailer in North Dakota, is seeking qualified and flexible candidates to join their growing Parts team. This role is ideal for individuals looking for competitive pay and a positive work culture within the automotive industry. The primary responsibility of the Parts Counter Consultant is to quote and sell automotive parts to customers for Main Shop sales, process orders, and ensure timely delivery of parts to internal departments like PDQ (Oil & Lube) and the Main Shop.

Requirements

• Ability to collaborate, interpret and communicate information that is not always straightforward
• Must have an outgoing personality
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Interested candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a parts counter person, parts advisor, or in an automotive parts retail environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Quote, sell and process Service department automotive parts
• Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain current product knowledge in accordance with company standards
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Coordinate parts ordering and delivery process
• Notify Service Advisor when parts are available
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
