About The Position

H&K Equipment is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to support our Parts Department in a variety of tasks, including inventory management, order processing, and assisting with technical part identification. The ideal candidate will have experience in a parts department environment and the ability to read and interpret drafting plans and technical drawings.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret drafting plans, technical drawings, and schematics
  • Strong communication skills

  • Solid negotiating capabilities and follow-up skills
  • Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Mechanical background

Responsibilities

  • Strong customer service and phone skills necessary
  • Manage parts counter and hit sales targets and goals
  • Ability to relate to customers, co-workers, and vendors
  • Ability to prioritize a large amount of orders
  • Working knowledge of shipping-receiving and warehousing
  • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
  • Researching multiple manufacturer part numbers online
  • Coordinate parts availability with shop and road mechanics
  • Must be willing to work as part of a team
