About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is hiring a Parts Coordinator for its manufacturing facility in Lake City, Florida. The role ensures that parts needed for repair work are available or coordinates with the Purchasing Department to purchase them. The employee works at a rapid pace within the production line and is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The work environment may also involve high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather, and electrical-shock risk; noise is usually loud. Physical demands include standing, using hands, reaching, talking or hearing, walking, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee frequently lifts or moves up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts or moves more than 100 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The role is non-exempt. Applicants must pass a pre-employment seven-panel drug screen. Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school graduation or equivalent training or experience.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, including a seven-panel drug screen.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Meet the physical demands and perform the essential functions of the position, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Manufactured housing industry experience is desired.
• High school diploma or GED; six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review each service order to confirm the correct parts.
• Gather parts needed for service work orders.
• Track defective items and return them to vendors for a refund.
• File completed work orders and returned vendor paperwork.
• Ensure repair parts are available or coordinate with the Purchasing Department to purchase needed parts.
