About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading Fleet Maintenance Company, is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty and Light Duty Parts Coordinator. This role reports to the Purchasing Manager and is responsible for internal parts ordering. The ideal candidate will build and maintain productive relationships with internal teammates and contribute to central purchasing objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly competitive market.
  • Knowledge of heavy duty parts/vehicles.
  • Exceptional phone skills: positive, enthusiastic, and attentive tone; clear enunciation; exceptional listening skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships.
  • Results-focused, producer, closer, committed to growth.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives.
  • Outgoing and assertive personality with initiative, proactivity, positivity, and a "can-do attitude."
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior success selling wholesale auto parts, particularly in the aftermarket industry.
  • ASE certifications in P1 and P2.
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Experience with heavy duty and light duty parts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal customers.
  • Work with internal customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Become familiar with client vehicle assignments.
  • Locate difficult-to-find parts and negotiate with vendors for the best deals.
  • Accurately quote parts and input information into the management system.
  • Track lost sales.
  • Assist other parts coordinators as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
