About The Position

Crown Lift Trucks is the premier material handling dealer in Canada, operating eight full-service branches in Ontario and Quebec. They are a leader in the industry and offer complete service solutions including maintenance programs, parts supply, and training. The Parts Coordinator will be responsible for receiving, sourcing, and processing all parts orders for non-Crown equipment, providing support to customers, technicians, and internal teams. This role involves researching vendors, placing orders, managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, assisting with departmental training, inventory tasks, shipping, and contributing to overall parts operations efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated customer relations ability.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Frequent keyboard and mouse use.
  • Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
  • Good binocular vision and the ability to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to sit approximately 5 hours, stand 2 hours, and walk 1 hour during an 8-hour shift.
  • Comfortable working in environments with possible exposure to temperature variations, dust, and noise.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, squat, reach above shoulder or below knee level, grip, grasp, and work with arms outstretched or above chest level.
  • Able to lift 75lbs comfortably, safety focused and a self-starter who takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

  • Receive parts orders for competitive equipment from customers, technicians, and parts vans.
  • Research vendors to determine the best available sources for purchasing required parts.
  • Order parts as needed and process weekly stock orders for non-Crown equipment represented by the branch.
  • Provide backup coverage for Customer Service Representatives on phone and radio orders.
  • Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and parts requisitions.
  • Receive incoming vendor shipments and commit parts to the appropriate orders.
  • Accurately code vendor payables for processing.
  • Assist in training and coaching Customer Service Representatives and other department staff to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Conduct van inventory reconciliations and perform minimum/maximum stock level calculations when required.
  • Receives and ships all incoming and outgoing product, accessories and materials.
  • Creates the bill of lading for all incoming and outgoing items.
  • Inspects incoming and outgoing products, accessories, and material against packing slips and receives electronically (where applicable).
  • Inspects for damaged, incorrect, and/or non-conforming product.
  • Ships all product, material, and accessories according to orders and shipping instructions.
  • Arranges for transportation of outgoing product, accessories and material.
  • Carries out housekeeping duties throughout the warehouse/shop to ensure a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Assist with parts warehouse picking and putting away of parts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
