About The Position

The Parts Coordinator (Decking) is responsible for accurately managing the disposition of spare parts in and out of the store room. This role ensures all stock movements are documented and reported, maintaining an up-to-date inventory in the master parts list. The coordinator will investigate and troubleshoot any discrepancies, implementing corrective actions. Key responsibilities include conducting various inventory management activities such as daily and monthly cycle counting, utilizing First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory management techniques, and performing inventory troubleshooting and repair. The role also involves performing J.D. Edwards transactions for receiving and inventory movement, ensuring accuracy in both physical and electronic receiving processes, and proactively identifying, reporting, and mitigating receiving issues.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Must be approved to drive the Company Truck.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs that include (but are not limited to): Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use J.D. Edwards to process inventory transactions.
  • Familiarization of the Master Parts List and its sub-components.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and carry out detailed written instruction.
  • Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance.
  • Follow all Trex health and safety standards.
