About The Position
Responsible for parts and other supplies for City Transit and Paratransit bus fleet and facility including our new electric buses. The Parts Clerk is responsible to assist the parts manager with the receipt, verification, labeling, storage/stocking, and documentation of all parts and supplies, executing shop administrative tasks, and organizing day-to-day functions. Working at the state-of-the-art CTtransit Waterbury Bus Maintenance Facility. Critical in making sure inventory is accurate and parts are available.
Requirements
- 2 years’ Experience in a Bus, Truck, Auto Maintenance Facility or Dealership highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the parts manager with the receipt, verification, labeling, storage/stocking, and documentation of all parts and supplies.
- Execute shop administrative tasks.
- Organize day-to-day functions.
- Ensure inventory is accurate and parts are available.
