About The Position
Southway Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking a full-time Parts Driver to join our team in Augusta, South Carolina. This role is crucial in supporting our technicians by ensuring they have the necessary parts to complete equipment repairs. The Parts Driver will operate motor vehicles in compliance with all State and Federal laws, and adhere to all safety and environmental policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass a drug and a background check
- The ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the day is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required
- A Clean MVR
- Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems.
- Regular, predictable, and full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
Responsibilities
- Pick up & deliver parts as instructed by Parts Manager
- Keep parts truck clean
- Report any problems with vehicle to Parts Manager
- Assist in keeping parts department clean and organized
- Assist in counting inventory
- Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by Parts Manager
