About The Position

Bachoco USA produces the highest quality chicken products for the U.S. market. Currently, the Bachoco USA family includes more than 4,000 team members who are dedicated to consistently producing high-quality chicken products and nourishing people around the world. This role is for the 2nd Shift Further Processing Plant, specifically in Department 1832 as a Parts Attendant. The schedule is Sunday through Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., and Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $16.75 per hour.

Requirements

  • Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Orders parts.
  • Sends out repair and return.
  • Performs inventory.
  • Puts parts in location.
  • Inputs work orders into MP2.
  • Gets parts for mechanics when needed.
  • Operates power equipment such as scissor lift or forklift to move parts, motors, etc.
  • Must pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for O.K. Foods.
