About The Position

This position is responsible for moving totes to and from trailers, moving trash, pallets, and supplies to and from the dock and production lines. It also involves moving finished totes to the freezer, locking/unlocking ramps as trailers dock, and communicating with management and co-workers. The role also includes using a forklift to move supplies, trash, pallets, chemicals, equipment, and cardboard bales on the facility grounds. The work environment can expose the employee to temperatures ranging from -10 to 80 degrees, wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors, concrete floors, and loud noise levels requiring hearing protection. The job requires the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 95 lbs and sit on a forklift for 8 to 12 hours. The outdoor work environment is subject to weather conditions like rain, heat, cold, and insects.

Requirements

Willing to take and pass forklift operation certification
Mon-Fri (3:30pm to 3:00 am) with occasional Saturdays
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Minimum of 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years
Minimum 3 months operating machinery in a processing/factory environment
Lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs
Willing to work sitting on a forklift for 8 to 12 hours
