About The Position

Beckley Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Parts Counterperson to join our team! We are seeking a well-versed, experienced automotive parts professional who understands the fast-paced environment of a dealership parts department. The ideal candidate will have strong parts knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently with both technicians and customers. Experience with CDK is required. General Motors dealership and GM parts experience is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Previous automotive dealership parts experience strongly preferred
• CDK experience required
• General Motors / GM parts experience is a major plus
• Strong automotive parts knowledge
• Ability to accurately navigate electronic parts catalogs
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced dealership environment
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• General Motors dealership and GM parts experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians, service advisors, wholesale accounts, and retail customers with parts needs
• Accurately identify and locate parts using catalogs and dealership systems
• Maintain accurate parts orders, invoices, and records
• Process special orders and track incoming parts
• Communicate effectively with the Service Department regarding parts availability and ETAs
• Maintain an organized and efficient parts department
• Assist with inventory control, returns, and reconciliation
• Build strong relationships with technicians, customers, and wholesale accounts
• Help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
