About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Parts & Service Assistant to join their team at Ford Prineville. This role involves assisting clients by selling OEM and aftermarket parts, and supporting the service department. The position is hybrid, with duties split between the parts and service departments.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Knowledge of local roads to shuttle customers to in-town destinations.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and service technicians to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance in the Quick-Lube Service.
• Determine need for repairs and maintenance by vehicle inspection and questioning customer, and by researching service history and computer information.
• Verify that work is properly diagnosed and performed.
• Input and maintain vehicle and customer information in computer system.
• Use telephone, Email and other means to communicate with customers and vendors.
• Schedule appointments.
• Maintain professional appearance of work area.
• Maintain parts inventory records by checking in freight.
• Stock shelves with parts inventory.
• Deliver parts.
• Assist customers and technicians with part needs and information.
• Create invoices and credit memos for parts.
• Process orders, returns, and warranties.
• Replace vehicle light bulbs and wiper blades.
• Seasonal tire changes- mount and balance tires.
• Back up shop with light mechanical work.
• Shuttle customers to in-town destinations.
• Wash customer vehicles.
• Maintain shop cleanliness.
• Other tasks as assigned.
