Parts Advisor - Allen Turner Automotive (Multiple Locations in Auburn, AL)

We're currently seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team supporting Allen Turner Toyota and Allen Turner Chevrolet-Cadillac. Requirements
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in an automotive parts position preferred; dealership experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of automotive systems and parts terminology
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), electronic parts catalogs, or inventory software
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers, technicians, and service advisors in identifying the correct parts and accessories
- Looking up parts using electronic catalogs and dealership inventory systems
- Processing parts orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently
- Receiving, unpacking, labeling, stocking, and organizing incoming parts shipments
- Maintaining accurate inventory and clean, organized storage areas
- Communicating with vendors regarding parts availability, delivery times, and special orders
- Accurately documenting parts transactions using the dealership management system (DMS)
- Supporting the service and sales departments by ensuring parts are available when needed
- Maintaining current knowledge of parts inventory, pricing, and manufacturer updates
- Assisting with inventory counts and stocking procedures
- Performing other duties as assigned to support department and dealership operations
