About The Position

The Parts Advisor is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while effectively managing the parts inventory and collaborating with skilled technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient computer skills with strong communication abilities
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift, and perform bending and twisting motions as required

Nice To Haves

• Automotive background preferred
• Previous experience in an automotive parts department or related field is a plus
• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts for their vehicles, ensuring a positive and informative experience.
• Promote and sell automotive parts and accessories to customers and technicians, meeting sales targets and providing expert recommendations.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure timely access to parts and assist with shop throughput and urgency.
• Look up parts, check inventory levels, and organize parts inventory to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Stay updated with OEM training and parts knowledge to provide accurate information to customers and technicians.
• Conduct research to locate parts and resolve any issues related to parts orders or availability.
• Find parts across multiple stores and manage inventory levels effectively. Pick up parts from external distributors as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
