About The Position

Ward Trucks of Mobile is hiring a Parts Advisor. Parts Counter Representatives are responsible for selling parts over-the-counters, over-the-phone, and occasionally, on-line, to our customers while promoting and maintaining a positive, team oriented, and customer focused attitude within the parts department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Reasoning ability.
• Technical skills.
• Problem Solving.
• Computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Heavy Duty Parts Counter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct parts.
• Providing pricing and product information to customers.
• Answering telephones promptly.
• Maintaining customer satisfaction at or above company standards.
• Assisting with inventory validation.
• Contributing to departmental production and profitability goals.
• Ability to apply common sense when needed, while staying within company guidelines.
