About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring is hiring a customer-focused Parts Advisor/Parts Counterperson for its growing, high-volume automotive parts department. The role supports customers and internal teams with parts questions, communicates estimated shipping and arrival times, answers technical parts questions, and records transactions and data in the Dealer Management System. The successful candidate will manage a high volume of work, meet deadlines and daily metric goals, and contribute to a fast-paced dealership environment. Requirements

1–3 years of experience in an automotive parts department.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Reynolds and Reynolds, Dealer Management System, and/or Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Nice To Haves

Mercedes-Benz or luxury automotive experience.

Responsibilities

Assist customers and internal teams with parts-related questions in person, by email, and by phone.
Communicate estimated parts shipping and arrival times and support technical parts questions.
Accurately record parts transactions and data in the Dealer Management System.
Prioritize and efficiently manage a high volume of work and meet deadlines.
Maintain daily metric goals.
Perform other duties as needed.
