The Marshalls Partnership Marketing Manager joins a team of leaders responsible for delivering programs with the intention of driving short and long-term growth for the brand. Marketing Managers have a strong understanding of the marketing landscape, channel standard processes and can effectively translate brand priorities, insights and data into planning and execution. Reporting directly to the Manager of Partnership Marketing for Marshalls, this specific role is responsible for implementing strategies & programs crafted to drive meaningful brand awareness, consideration and perception lift through high impact partnerships in the fashion, lifestyle and entertainment arenas. This manager will work closely with key agency, external and internal partners, to collaboratively bring initiatives to life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of Marketing experience, preferably in retail or fashion, and with relevant partnership background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing a full-time employee(s) and/or team
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including deep listening and inquiry, effective communication, highly collaborative, participatory decision-maker
  • Interest in fashion/home trends, pop culture, entertainment and is digitally savvy
  • Experience evaluating creative and interpreting brand vision through creative execution
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels within an organization
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office programs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Openness to travel (20% of the time) to support partnership execution

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day execution of media and content plans, including coordination, review, and delivery of content across channels (video, digital, social, etc.)
  • Support development and tracking of measurement plans, including important metrics and reporting; analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Display creative & innovative thinking by bringing forth recommendations on new partnership opportunities that align with the evolving industry landscape
  • Assist in briefing agencies and external partners on brand vision, objectives, and investment strategy to help drive strong, high-quality outcomes
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing peers to develop and implement fully integrated plans, ensuring programs achieve maximum reach
  • Serve as key day-to-day contact for external agency and internal partners
  • Manage the annual partnership budget inclusive of forecasting, tracking monthly fees, submitting invoices, etc.
  • Supervise the Marketing Supervisor and encourage a culture in which associates feel welcomed, valued and engaged
