About The Position

LumiMeds is a fast-growing U.S.-based telehealth startup focused on weight management and long-term metabolic health. We are building the next generation of e-commerce and clinical infrastructure from the ground up. As an early-stage company, we move quickly, operate with limited layers, and expect high ownership from every team member. There is no bureaucracy here — decisions happen fast, priorities evolve, and builders thrive. We are a remote-first, globally distributed team that values clarity, accountability, and people who take initiative rather than wait for direction. We're looking for a Partnership Development Representative (PDR) to act as LumiMeds' first point of contact (POC) with pharmaceutical companies, suppliers, and other potential B2B partners. You'll research and identify the right organizations and decision-makers, open conversations, and set up qualified intro calls for our [leadership team / Head of Partnerships]. This is a relationship-building and pipeline-generation role, not a closing or negotiating role: your job is to make sure our leaders are spending their time in conversations with the right pharmaceutical partners, at the right time, with the groundwork already laid.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in business development, sales development (SDR/BDR), lead generation, or partnerships-related outreach — pharma, healthcare, or life sciences B2B experience strongly preferred
  • Time management: able to run a high volume of parallel outreach threads and follow-ups without dropping the ball
  • Goal / results orientation: comfortable being measured on outreach volume, response rates, and calls booked
  • Detail orientation: meticulous with CRM data and contact records — accuracy matters more in pharma partnerships, where compliance and credibility are on the line
  • Communication & rapport-building: confident initiating conversations with senior stakeholders (procurement leads, business development contacts, executives at pharmaceutical companies)
  • Resilience: comfortable with outbound outreach and a normal amount of rejection
  • Research skills: able to identify the right pharmaceutical companies and the right decision-makers within them
  • Industry awareness / professionalism: understanding that pharma is a regulated space — communications should stay professional and avoid making claims about products or partnerships that aren't yet confirmed
  • Highly organized, with experience using a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.)
  • Professional-level English communication
  • Availability to work U.S. business hours

Nice To Haves

  • Existing network or experience in pharmaceuticals, compounding, or healthcare distribution

Responsibilities

  • Research the pharmaceutical / life sciences market to identify potential partner companies (manufacturers, compounding pharmacies, suppliers, distributors) and the right decision-makers within them (via LinkedIn, industry events, trade publications, referrals, databases, etc.)
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified pharma partnership leads and contacts, using a mix of outbound (cold email, LinkedIn, calls) and inbound follow-up
  • Reach out to prospective pharmaceutical partners to introduce LumiMeds, gauge mutual interest, and have exploratory conversations about potential collaboration — supply agreements, distribution, co-development, or other partnership models
  • Schedule and coordinate intro calls between qualified partners and our [leader/leadership team], ensuring both sides come prepared with relevant context
  • Track all outreach, conversations, and appointment statuses in the CRM; keep contact and lead data accurate and up to date
  • Manage timely follow-ups with prospects who aren't ready yet, keeping the relationship warm for future opportunities — pharma partnership cycles can be long
  • Provide regular updates on outreach volume, response rates, and pipeline health to leadership
