Partnership & Brand Activation Manager

McKinnis Roofing & Sheet MetalOmaha, NE
Onsite

About The Position

McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal is seeking a Partnership & Brand Activation Manager to lead strategic partnerships, community engagement, sponsorships, and brand initiatives. This role is crucial for growing the company and strengthening its reputation. The primary focus (90-95%) will be managing and activating a major regional sports and entertainment partnership, aiming to generate measurable pipeline rather than just impressions. The remaining 5-10% will support multimedia content production, with potential for broader content responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate is people-focused, creative, organized, and passionate about connecting with people.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in partnerships, marketing, business development, brand management, or event planning.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable attending occasional evening or weekend events.
  • FAA Part 107 required or obtained within first 90 days (for drone operation).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact with the partnership's rights-holder; manage contract deliverables, asset inventory, and fulfillment timelines.
  • Plan, staff, and execute gameday and event activations — hospitality, tabling, signage, promotions, and on-site brand presence.
  • Coordinate co-branded creative and campaign assets with the marketing team, aligned to McKinnis brand standards.
  • Manage the partnership budget, vendor relationships, and activation logistics.
  • Identify and activate B2B opportunities (commercial / GC relationship visibility) and B2C opportunities (residential retail lead capture) within the partnership.
  • Build and maintain lead-attribution tracking for all partnership activities, integrated with AccuLynx and marketing reporting.
  • Capture and report partnership-attributed leads, pipeline, and closed revenue on a monthly cadence.
  • Continuously test and optimize activation tactics against cost-per-lead and ROI, not vanity metrics.
  • Capture and edit photo and video content from partnership events, game days, and (as capacity allows) job sites.
  • Operate drones for aerial footage where appropriate (FAA Part 107 required or obtained within first 90 days).
  • Maintain an organized asset library so content is reusable across campaigns, social, and sales playbooks.
  • Support mobile-first content for Meta and short-form channels.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance benefits
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Opportunities for career advancement within a growing company
  • A positive and inclusive work environment where teamwork and hard work are recognized and appreciated.
