About The Position

With Intelligence, part of S&P Global, is recruiting a Partner Strategy Manager to join their US-based team. This role will serve as a strategic support resource for the Partnership sales and IR teams by translating manager objectives, target allocator preferences, and internal intelligence into actionable audience development and matchmaking strategies. The role will develop a detailed understanding of both managers and allocators and leverage internal data, market intelligence, and relationship insights to improve allocator targeting, meeting outcomes, and overall Retreat ROI. This individual will serve as the connective tissue between manager priorities and audience development efforts, helping ensure that the right allocators are invited, attending, and connected with the right managers. In doing so, the role will help deliver a more customized experience for clients while supporting stronger fundraising outcomes and more effective Retreat participation. In addition, this role will support client retention efforts by developing dashboards and annual reports for clients conveying the value they’ve received from their engagement with S&P Global.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Participate in manager discovery and preference-gathering conversations
  • Develop and maintain detailed manager profiles, leveraging the With platform, market research, and AI.
  • Understand fundraising priorities, target allocations, investment strategies, and desired Retreat outcomes.
  • Maintain an up-to-date view of manager objectives throughout the year.
  • Translate manager priorities into Retreat-specific allocator targets for the IR team.
  • Build allocator target lists and manager wish lists.
  • Identify gaps between manager demand and expected allocator attendance.
  • Partner with IR team to influence invitation strategy.
  • Support the preparation of LP and GP briefing documents ahead of each Retreat, continually identifying ways to make this information more valuable to our audiences.
  • Surface relevant market intelligence and allocator insights.
  • Recommend top allocators for each manager to meet.
  • Prepare allocator prioritization lists for IR teams to facilitate on-site introductions.
  • Track introductions, meetings, and engagement outcomes.
  • Build and maintain client tracking dashboards that are referenced regularly to ensure health of client engagement.
  • Track manager requests and meeting recommendations.
  • Develop tools to measure introduction success and audience alignment.
  • Lead on the development of a “Year in Review” summary for each partner firm ahead of client renewal.
