This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient migration of sensitive financial and accounting data, and for configuring Pennylane to meet the specific interoperability needs of these firms. As a Partner Solution Architect (also known as Technical Project Manager), you will be technically and operationally responsible for migrating accounting firms to Pennylane. You will collaborate with various stakeholders within the firm and Pennylane to ensure the most efficient and rapid migration possible. Autonomy, quick operational readiness, and fluid communication with both our internal tech team and external stakeholders like CIOs, CFOs, and accountants are essential.

Requirements

  • Project Management: Rigorous methodology, management of priorities and crisis situations.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of SQL, proficiency in Python, understanding of APIs and SaaS architectures (must-have for this role).
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of accounting flows (FEC, VAT, balances) to anticipate firm needs (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Project Management of Migration Projects: Define the technical scope with the firm (source software, data volume, business specifics). Governance: Coordinate internal stakeholders (PSS, AE, PRM, Partners) and external stakeholders (Accountants, Firm IT, Ambassadors). Deadline Management: Ensure data migration within the allocated 5-day timeframe. Hypercare: Support the client post-migration to ensure a frictionless adoption.
  • Technical Expertise & Industrialization: Quality Audit: Identify and correct data anomalies beforehand to minimize production failures. Technical Referent (Internal Pennylane): Provide solutions for firm technical needs (SSO implementation, API consumption, etc.). Innovation (Internal Pennylane): Develop tools, scripts (Python/SQL), or documentation to automate repetitive tasks within the department.
  • Consulting & Posture: Scope Definition: Maintain project scope and propose alternatives for complex cases. Pedagogy: Explain technical challenges in a way that is understandable to accounting professionals. Continuous Improvement (Internal Pennylane): Relay field feedback to product teams to influence the technical roadmap.
