About The Position

A WEX Benefits Partner Sales Director (PSD) is responsible for managing a multi-state territory, building and maintaining relationships with multiple WEX partners, generating requests for proposals/quotes, working a sales process, closing sales, driving revenue, and reaching an annual sales quota. This role requires great relationship salespeople with experience and the ability to “see the big picture.” The role will require 10-20% overnight travel and will focus on the North West territory. The PSD must adhere to security policies and have a full understanding of the relationship between employee benefits consultants, brokers, referral partners, employers, and Salespeople. They must understand the value of internal equity building and be able to manage the logistics of travel throughout the country, including planning their own travel schedule, reservations, event coordination, expense management, and logistics for meetings. The role involves establishing and attending meetings with new and existing relationships to further partnerships and generate Requests for Proposals (RFPs), conducting finalist presentations to decision makers, and providing product training and demonstrations to penetrate and grow market share. The PSD will prioritize growth opportunities, participate in weekly and monthly Region Team meetings, and log and champion the use of Salesforce as a CRM and LinkedIn as a communication, community building, and marketing tool. Travel expectations are a minimum of once a month into at least one major market of the assigned territory, with each trip including multiple partner meetings. The role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, professional customer service, strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to listen, evaluate, and exercise independent judgment, maintain confidentiality, build effective working relationships, express appreciation, treat others with respect, be a good team member, act as a role model for professional behavior, and provide respectful and effective feedback. Strong organizational skills are necessary, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate work, involve the team in quality initiatives, and plan projects and multi-task effectively. Requirements

  • Two or more years of sales experience in the payroll, HCM, or employee benefits industry.
