About The Position

As part of our Customer Relations team, you will ensure that our commercial sellers (partners) in the APAC region comply with all regulatory requirements during their registration process and support them on their way to becoming active sellers. To this end, you will be in close contact with our sales and account management teams as well as our payment service provider. You will also check sellers for compliance with our platform guidelines after they have been activated. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring that Chrono24 remains a pleasant and secure marketplace for buyers and sellers. Your ideas will help us to continuously improve Chrono24. As an essential part of the onboarding process, you will check newly registered partners in the APAC region using the evidence provided, business documents, and your own research, and remain in contact with them until all requirements for active sales have been met. You will also support the onboarding of partners in EMEA and the Americas. You will be responsible for ensuring that Chrono24 remains a trustworthy marketplace for high-quality watches by ensuring compliance with our guidelines, terms and conditions, and legal requirements, e.g., in the area of trademark and copyright law. You will analyze guideline violations and initiate appropriate measures. You contribute constructive ideas and suggestions to further improve Chrono24. You work closely with other customer relations teams, in particular our sales, account management, and fraud prevention teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in onboarding and/or supporting professional clients, and ideally familiarity with KYB and AML processes.
  • Alternatively, a background/experience in a luxury segment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Japanese (native or near-native level) as well as English (at least C1 level).
  • Other languages are welcome, especially Cantonese, Mandarin, and Korean.
  • Communicate precisely in writing in order to quickly find a solution with your counterpart, but thanks to your empathetic nature, you are not afraid to pick up the phone in challenging situations.
  • Conscientious and enjoy new challenges.
  • Proficient in using common office solutions and have experience with CRM systems.
  • Enjoy approaching problems in an investigative and solution-oriented manner.
  • Open to new processes.
  • Ideally, have an interest in watches.
