Partner Broadcast Support Intern

About The Position
THI is experiencing growth in partnerships and an increase in daily broadcasts. This has led to a demand for broadcast support that exceeds the current team's capacity. The intern will act as an operational resource, providing support for partner MSMS broadcasts, Canvas and iClicker courses, and technical assistance efforts.
Requirements
- Must be a student pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with Zoom for broadcast management.
- Experience communicating with university partners or staff.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with broadcast software.
- Experience supporting instructional activities using technology.
- Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas.
- Experience with educational technology platforms like ExamSoft.
- Ability to assist faculty and students with technology.
- Problem-solving skills for educational technology and IT issues.
- Experience with reporting and analytics, particularly related to student performance.
- Video and audio editing skills.
- Experience supporting university technology teams or registrar offices.
- Familiarity with technology implementation projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a broadcast manager of Zoom-based In-Class Sessions to students in classrooms & at home
- Communicate with THI’s University Partners’ staff on a daily basis about Zoom sessions
- Start & troubleshoot Zoom broadcasts
- Aggregate student questions on Chat and notify Instructor when appropriate
- Provide support for instructional activities that use technology
- Manage alignment between multiple courses across multiple universities
- Provide faculty and student training on all digital platforms, such as Canvas LMS, ExamSoft, etc.
- Assist faculty with preparation and application of technology used to support teaching & learning / the curricular materials
- Help solve faculty and student educational technology & IT issues, including working with the Ponce-based IT department to resolve account setup, emails, etc.
- Support the creation of weekly reports and analytics on student performance to provide early alerts for potential at-risk students
- Edit video and audio files to support instruction
- Help partner university technology teams and registrar offices with setup of all technology-related requirements for the MSMS program
- Support new partner university technology implementation projects
